The architectural solution endeavours to rationalise a number of later additions, which have been added to the original dwelling at the rear of the property and create an open plan living, cooking and eating space that will contrast with and offer family orientated accommodation not presently provided within the traditional building layout. The new extension will also exploit the proximity of the rear garden by maximising the amount of moveable glazing to the rear and side elevations, interconnecting house and garden spaces to maximum benefit.
